Z3 offers DVB-T modules and system integration for ODM and OEM customers
Pitta-M, the smallest DVB-T receiver module in the industry, is a total solution performing antenna-in-video-out reception for DTV signals compliant with the DVB-T specifications. It provides an easy and convenient way to upgrade existing multimedia electronics to attain DVB-T reception capability. With its embedded RF tuner, high performance COFDM demodulator, and a hardware MPEGII decoder, Pitta-M can receive DVB-T signals over the air through antenna and generate versatile high quality video/audio outputs for display. It is in fact a palm-size full-function set-top box!!
Pitta-M features with high sensitivity at -87dBm (for 16QAM), a very slim dimension at 51 mm×50 mm×7.5 mm, and very low power consumption at 1.6W. These advantages make Pitta-M module an ideal subsystem for many portable consumer electronics such as in-car entertainment, car navigation, portable TV, LCD/PDP TV, portable DVD players, DVD player/recorder, etc.
Pitta-M contains UART and IR ports to facilitate communications requirements between Pitta-M module and host systems. Its 20-pin connector provides a simple and easy interface for integration with host systems. It is a simple, slim, and almost self-contained module. Apart from the power, antenna, I/O connectors, nothing else is required to use Pitta-M.
